WHAT DO I USE FOR A TRAILER?
When we speak with customers about our pontoon boat kits, one of the first questions to come up is what to use for a trailer. We're not a trailer manufacturer or dealer, but we can point you in the right direction. Below we have compiled a list of trailer manufacturers and models that are appropriate for our small, mini, and micro pontoon boats. If there are absolutely no trailer dealers in your area, check out the very bottom of this page as we have provided links to bunk brackets for adapting most existing boat trailers to carry our small pontoon boats.
When ordering from any trailer brand below, be sure to specify the on-center spacing and float width of your intended boat. These specs are listed below. Most factories or dealers will adjust the bunk spacing to fit your boat before the trailer is picked up at the dealership.

All three models have adjustable bunks and we're still awaiting verification that all three can be adjusted to fit our 6', 7', and 8' wide mini pontoon boats and work barges. Below we have provided useful links to find the appropriate trailers from ShoreLand'r.

WHAT ABOUT ADAPTING EXISTING TRAILERS?
If it makes more sense to adapt an existing trailer to fit under our boats, we can point you in the right direction for that as well. Both Venture and ComFab have great online parts stores that offer bunk brackets for converting existing boats to carry our little pontoon boats. Please be aware that some bunk brackets don't include hardware, but both companies offer it separately if it's not included with brackets. When getting bunk brackets from Venture, be sure to order the appropriate bolt plate that fits into the U-shaped slot at the base of the bracket. You will have to contact them for this part as not all boat trailers have the same width frame tubes. Links for the Venture and ComFab part stores are listed below.
When adapting trailers to be used with our boats, be sure that the trailer is rated for the weight of the boat you will be building. V-hull boat trailers and large PWC trailers often work well when adapted to carry our boats. VENTURE PARTS
