HOW OUR KITS WORK
Our pontoon lift boats kits are designed for folks who need the ability to lift things out on the water. Customers use these small and large pontoon boats to hang water pumps for dredging, dewatering, and flood control, as well as carry out underwater recovery and repair, move mooring anchors, or even hang water testing and underwater surveying equipment. Our small A-frame lift boats with 18" and 27" wide floats are based on our custom small and medium scale aluminum boat frame system and use our weight-efficient 1200 pound capacity A-frame gantry system. Our large A-frame lift boats are available with two frame options and utilize our weight efficient 4000 pound capacity aluminum I-beam gantry system. Our smaller boats have come with 3/8" thick lift rings to lift pumps and the boat as a whole, while our large lift boats require use of lift straps or custom attachment points. The best feature of all is that all our boats float on our stout, foam-filled, HDPE plastic pontoon floats that are nearly indestructible.
Why run one of our bolt-together kits? It means that you can build your boat just as you'd like! Also, you can build it in your yard or workshop and we can ship it to you for a reasonable cost. If you've ever tried to ship a fully assembled boat, you know that it costs a fortune and can easily be damaged in transit. When we ship out boat kits, your order will ship as one or two shipments (depends what's be purchased) and we put in the effort to make sure you get the best shipping rate possible. Typically, both the frame and floats ship from us in NH, but in some cases, the floats will ship directly from the plastics factory in WI. Local pick-up from our home base in NH is also an option with prior arrangements for many orders. Also, YES, our frame systems come with spare nuts, bolts, and washers. We all know how annoying it is when you buy a kit and lose a couple pieces of hardware. We don't want anyone to be stuck on their project because a couple nuts or bolts escaped during assembly. Are these whole boats ready to register? No, they are not! When you purchase a kit from us, you are purchasing floats and frame components, not an assembled boat with a Hull Identification Number. If you are powering your freshly built boat and intending to use it on public bodies of water, you will have to register the boat as home-built after completion, and we can guide you through this simple process.

This little pontoon boat is a great solution for hanging small dredge pumps, moving mooring anchors, light-duty underwater recover, or for hanging research or surveying equipment. Our 6'x10' dual-nose mini pontoon lift boat kit comes with our weight efficient lifting A-frame and bolts together quickly (please see full description at top of page).
This compact lift boat weighs in at a mere 328 pounds, has a capacity of 673 pounds (rated at half submersion of the floats), and uses our 1200 pound capacity (more than the assembled boat) A-frame gantry system. Our kit comes with all the required hardware, and we have thorough assembly instructions here on our website. These kits are available with black and orange floats. Our 6'x12' blunt end mini pontoon lift boat kit is for those that need a little more capacity, but still want to retain a low deck height. This small pontoon lift boat is also great solution for hanging small dredge pumps, moving mooring anchors, light-duty underwater recover, or for hanging research or surveying equipment. Our 6'x12' blunt end pontoon lift boat kit comes with our weight efficient lifting A-frame and bolts together quickly (please see full description at top of page).

8'x12' BLUNT END PONTOON LIFT BOAT KIT

Our 8'x12' pontoon lift boat makes full use of the 1200 pound capacity lift frame and is for those who need full-size capability. This pontoon lift boat uses our 26" wide floats and has an extra stable 101" overall width. These boats are typically used for lifting dredge pumps, performing underwater maintenance, and recovery. This size lift boat fits on standard pontoon boat trailers as well.
This mid-sized lift boat weighs in at a manageable 689 pounds, has a hefty capacity of 1657 pounds (rated at half submersion of the floats), and uses our 1200 pound capacity A-frame gantry system. Our kit comes with all the required hardware, and we have thorough assembly instructions here on our website. These kits are available with black and orange floats. 10'x20' DUAL-NOSE LIFT BOAT SYSTEMS WITH 4,000 LB GANTRY
$24,900 / $22,760 - 2 FRAME OPTIONS Our 10'x20' dual-nose lift boat systems float on our large 36" wide floats, come equipped with our 4,000 pound capacity A-frame lift gantries, and are availab with two different framing options. We offer this kit with either our full aluminum frame system, which includes everything you need, or our hybrid frame system, which uses a stainless steel tube backbone that you purchase locally (along with other weld-on brackets), and requires some welding.
FULL ALUMINUM FRAME SYSTEM: This option provides you with everything you need to build your boat kit. The kit includes our massive 36" wide HDPE plastic, foam filled floats, our full aluminum frame system, stainless assembly hardware, and our bolt-together 4000 pound capacity modular A-frame lifting gantry (all the brackets and hardware are stainless steel - legs and upper beam are 6061 aluminum). This option is $24,900 and does not include the cost of freight. Lead time for this system can range from 4-8 weeks.
HYBRID FRAME SYSTEM: This option provides you with the set of 36" wide HDPE plastic floats, aluminum frame crossmembers, stainless frame assembly hardware, our modular aluminum and stainless steel 4000 pound capacity A-frame gantry system, weld-on crossmember brackets, and assembly hardware. What isn't included is the four 193" lengths of 6"x2", 3/16" wall rectangular stainless steel tube. For this, we'll help source the tube to make that part easy for you. Obtaining this material locally can save SOME customers a tremendous amount of money on freight (shipping long parts is expensive), but does require a skilled welder who can follow clear welding instructions. The price for this kit WITHOUT THE STAINLESS STEEL 6"X2" TUBE is $22,760. Lead time for this system can range from 4-8 weeks.
